For context this was recorded in October of 2022.

Tax season was brutal. I saw one tweet from someone who had to close her office because the abuse and threats from clients had gotten so bad.

This is a tax office!!

And she’s getting threats from angry clients who probably waited until the last minute to turn in their stuff and then wanted their returns done yesterday!

The Pandemic has done something to people.

Social media has done something to people.

It’s not unlike what alcohol does for people where we call it “liquid courage.”

People feel very comfortable hiding behind social media when they know they can avoid the consequences of their actions and what they have to say.

Now that tax season is done, Josh is looking forward to getting back into the creative side of his business so he can offer greater value for his clients.
