Instead of taking a job, Meghan decided to take some time off and spend time with her dog, Pretzel. During this time she discovered Lure Coursing.
Dogs have a natural instinct to chase things; bunnies squirrels, etc...
She couldn’t find a way to do this with Pretzel.
Meghan by her own admission doesn’t let things go. So she looked into buying a lure coursing system, but that would have cost around $4k.
So she cajoled her dad into helping her build her own.
Then she had a party and she had about 60 people show up to play with hers and her dad’s creation.
People were asking her when they could do this again.
That’s how SwiftPaws was born.
Meghan got Pretzel when she was 16. Before that she had Snickers when she was 8.
