I began my career in the auto finance industry. After leaving my corporate job in 2012, I decided to launch my own firm in 2013 with the help and support of my two sisters. Accounting Specialists and Business Solutions, LLC is a bilingual (Spanish and English) bookkeeping and tax practice focused on helping small business owners, self-employed individuals, start-ups and entrepreneurs run their businesses using cloud solutions. I moved out of Los Angeles 2 years ago to Vancouver, WA and I'm loving it!

Astrid’s passion for numbers began when she worked for an auto finance company.
But she didn’t like working in the corporate world. Back in school and working on her accounting degree - when that ended she quit her job!
Corporate accounting was fast paced in all the wrong ways with every different kind of closing.
As she was staring her career on her own she stumbled on MY videos and as she puts it, she started stalking me early.
Astrid has save 6-7 months worth of expenses so that she could get out on her own and survive while she build her practice.

She didn’t have her first client until she was about 4 months in.
How did she get that first client?
He ran a cargo company in Downtown Los Angeles in the Fashion District.
He was also just getting started and it was through mutual contacts that they knew each other - he was a referral.
Astrid reached out to former coworkers to let them know she was on her own as an Enrolled Agent.
