She was in the Coast Guard because of the community aspect of it. NYC has more police than the Coast Guard has people, and they serve internationally.
It was a small supportive community, and she was drawn to that.
Erica started her own business and in time was faced with the decision to run her business or join pLink with a team of executive coaches.
She decided to join pLink and her reason makes a TON of sense.
She had to ask herself what was the “value” that she wanted to grow into? What was most important to her?
Looking at these choices through that value, she looked at being a business owner and saw that she would grow in marketing and social media (and probably bookkeeping), and a host of other skills which weren’t her core competency and didn’t line up with her core value.
So seh joined pLink because that’s where she would grow as a facilitator and as a coach.
